Day trips (I read you can get to Vienna via the train but they might be not so reliable)
How long should we stay?
Places to stay - I don't do hostels. I don't need a 4 Seasons, but I need my own, clean, bathroom!
Also, there is a chance I might be 3-4 months prego, so while the walking won't be an issue, I might need access to bathrooms! Is the water safe?

I've been to Prague 3 times -- PM me if you need any info. I'd start by looking at www.inyourpocket.com - their Prague guide will give you all kinds of info re: hotels etc. Last time we stayed at the Pension Dientzenhofer and liked it (I don't tend to spend lots of time in my hotel room so wasn't looking for lots of comfort...but it was very clean and conveniently located, and the staff were friendly and helpful). Depending on how long you'll be staying in the Czech Republic, I would highly recommend a trip to Cesky Krumlov (not just a daytrip -- try to stay at least one night or two). We had a GREAT little hotel there -- http://www.ckrumlov.info/docs/en/uby75.xml
