Gift Etiquette

Is the party here in NYC? The only time I've bought gifts is for 'big' birthdays like a 25th or 30th. In general if it's at a bar I don't brings a gift bc I'll buy the birthdaygal a drink or give her a gift at a later time. Too much stuff gets lost/left/stolen from bars!

Yes it is. Thanks for making this easier for me. I haven't talked to her in like 3 years outside of facebook so I wouldn't even know what to get her! Can't go wrong with a nice pomegranate martini though.

It's fairly common around here to get a card with like $10 worth of scratch off lottery tickets in it.

Ohhhh pomegranate martinis!! Those drinks are delish. Had one at the W Union Square Friday. Enjoy the party & reconnecting with your friend.
