I think that maybe the rest of the world (not mid east) is saying "this is their war, it needs to be fought, let them fight"

I'd be against sending troops there as that would be a tacital error of judgement.

Just wanted to clarify that it is NOT Lebanon itself, but the terrorist group of Hezbollah that is doing the bombing.

Let me clarify some things for you:

Hezbollah occupies 23 seats in the Parliament. It has not surrendered a single one since the war began. Aside from the seats it has, other Lebanese leaders including Lahoud are their supporters.

The 1990 Taif Agreement gave Hezbollah the state sanctioned right to police Lebanon's southern border with Israel. This agreement is still in effect despite a 2004 UN resolution demanding that Lebanon dismantle Hezbollah's presence along the border.

Hezbollah is the government. The government is Hezbollah.

According to the Israeli human rights group, B'tselem, six civilians including two minors were subjected to the illegal tactic during an incursion into the town of Beit Hanoun last week.

The Palestinians use civilians as human shields. That's why they fire rockets from civilian areas and fight in civilian areas and have not stopped their terrorist actions.

That is the true atrocity. At any point Israel could demolish the entirety of Gaza and Lebanon with bombs or order a major ground invasion. It hasn't. It's done so to protect civilian lives. Meanwhile Arabs and Palestinians continually target civlians. When an Israeli dies, it's not because they killed him or her by accident.

Yes, I know what's going on, Rudey. The real question here, why are you in denial? tell me Rudey, since you are so good with numbers, how many Israeli civilians have died, and put those figures beside the fatality of the Lebanese civilians?

And you know damn well that Israel is not protecting civilian lives --they can't even protect the careful marked and higly visible UNIFIL posts.

How about posting that Hezbollah has attacked Israel with thousands of rockets in the last few days and the casualties would be much higher if Israelis were not sleeping on bomb shelters or evacuating the North?

But you can't do that Opi can you? Because the Muslim Students Association only sends you these links and you just want to ignore the fact that Israel got attacked, Israelis are kidnapped and the Arabs want Israel completely destroyed. Once again, Israel was not in Lebanon or Gaza and got ATTACKED.

If Lebanon had killed 1,000 Israelis, should Israel have gone in and killed 1,000 Lebanese exactly? Is that how it works? Is that what they teach you in law school? Is that what countries have done in wars since the beginning of time?

How about the fact that Israel has evacuated the North, its citizens sleep in bomb shelters, and it sacrifices its own lives to destroy rocket launchers and that's why its casualties are less?

How about the fact that Hezbollah's disgusting plans include hiding rockets and bombs inside houses, garages, and under beds?

How about the fact that Israel has been as precise as possible and hasn't ordered a full scale war against Lebanon?

ONCE AGAIN, lets not forget what started this. Hamas and Hezbollah, two terrorist groups. Civilian casualties are the unfortunate by product of war. Israel is dropping leaflets and using loudspeakers to get citizens out of harms way. Meanwhile, Hamas and Hezbollah target cities, without any concern for civilian life. I just simply cannot understand why people, the UN, the EU, etc...keep siding with the terrorist organizations. They want the fighting to stop, but they care less if Israel is repeatedly attacked without provocation. Frankly, I'm disgusted by the international community.

Third, there is no MSA at Cooley. Just FYI. And the JSLA at Cooley are pretty cool peoples ;-)

I fixed your post for you so you can worry now about the Lebanese killing Israeli children in a war they started and have chosen to continue. They can stop it at any time. You should advocate for that much like most of the Arab world.
