It is the truth about candles - I believe it is a panhellenic thing or at least most sororities are jumping on the band wagon - REASON: INSURANCE - its not that insurance is against candles it is that they are against candles inside an insured location
THEREFORE - do your candle things outside - it would actually be kind of cool - in a field or whatever - to do your diamond sister or "candle pass" or whatever out side if it is nice
But this is not a false rumor it is true
