I'm aktually biased towards anotha org but I kan honestly say that from my experience of viewing shows etc, PBS are definately the best steppers. As for the other "myths," the ones that I've heard were mostly the same as NYC2.

Myths...

It has been my experience that those who stoop to such classless strategies of defamation are not worthy of mention.. I mean has anyone thought about where such myths orginate?

Sigmas and Zetas represent what is right about being African American and Greek and the haters abound because when they look at their lot they see that they made a very wrong choice...

Because we are a strong fraternity with a bond that transcends the superficial.. we are styled rejects?! Whatever!

Because we are always willing to help others and move through life with good and pleasant attitudes and dispositions... we are country?!!!

We are who we are.... a lovely family... a blue and white... tru blu... ride or die.... deep in the heart... forever and ever faithful and true... an anomaly of excellence and a well-spring of pride for all who see those letters... ZETA PHI BETA SIGMA!

I have heard the following things.

Sigmas:
Country, lame, corny, dark skinned.

Zeta:
Rejects, fat, dark skinned, can't operate without Sigmas.

Of course, those are all stereotypes. I think the Zetas throw down when strolling. I've never seen the Sigmas in action. I almost got to fighting in the club with two Zetas for doing a stroll that included throwing the dove down. That night was wild.

With which organization were you strolling?

Grandfather a Sigma, Godmother a Zeta

No myths believed here. My grandfather was a prominent Baptist pastor in LA and definitely not country or lame. My Godmother was neither ugly or fat.

And neither were rejected by other orgs.

Yep, there are plenty of people who defy the "myths."

But...LOL...the use of the word "myth" makes it seem like it's completely false on all accounts. Like completely fabricated with no foundation. That can't be true since many of us know plenty of people from all organizations who fit whatever stereotype of that organization.

The Sigmas and everyone else are just better off not paying any attention to this stuff.

I've heard some of the same things, though they are so untrue. I've seen some very attractive Zetas, and I know the Sigmas and Zetas are great steppers. They're hard to beat at my school .

Yeah I definitely don't know where THAT one came from. The Sigmas and Zetas be smackin' the helloutta themselves--flapping arms and what not. Usually the most precision I see in shows is from the ZPBS fam.

The brothers from VCU (Delta Upsilon) thank you for that sentiment.
