Let me throw my two cents in about what I think about Sigma Sigma Sigma. It rocks, that's all there is to it!

When I was in school about 12 years ago, Sigma Sigma Sigma was by far the weakest link in our Panhel system. They had 8 very introverted sisters, the University assigned independant women to live in their housing because they couldn't fill it and I never recall them getting more than 4 or 5 girls during formal rush any of my 4 years there.

Fast forward 6 years after I graduated. I came back to campus and there were Sigma Sigma Sigmas everywhere I looked proudly wearing their letters. I remember talking to a DZ active and her roommate came up to say hi. Adorable, petite, nice girl. And I said to my sister, you HAVE to rush her when the seniors graduate in January! And my sister said, "She came to our prefs, but she wanted Tri-Sigma." Whoa, I thought, things sure have changed 'round here!

And that is the reason I think so highly of Sigma Sigma Sigma. Their Nationals saw a chapter on the brink of folding and instead of just giving it the final push in that direction, they sent people to rebuild. No way could that have been an easy job based on their reputation prior to recolonization, but they did it. Now they continue to be very strong at my alma mater, solidly in the top 4 or 5 and they even fielded a candidate for Homecoming Queen this year.

Good for them, and I wish them many more years of success!!
