For what it's worth - I think I'm a pretty middle of the road GCer...
I think the H&A was as annoying to some people as this new "group" is now to some others. Personally, I got/get really annoyed by both and I also found/find some of the posting really funny.
In the end, I go back to my old mantra with the whole issue of drama on GC
