It's pointless in sending a PM to a few people when there are at least 10-15 other people who agree.

And if it's an open thread that is one thing.... but turning threads into 3 or 4 person conversations away from the topic is really really annoying.

Thank GOD someone finally said something! I don't hang out on GC much anymore because of the pointless drivel that a handful of people have brought to GC recently.

PLEASE take it to PMs or email and stop torturing the rest of us.

Co-sign! It's really annoying that GC has gotten so drastically out of control. A perfectly good thread is ruined when people start having non-relevant conversations in the thread that no one else gives a shit about thus ruining the original point of the thread in the first place.

Personally, I'd use the ignore option on those people, but I like playing "I bet [certain user] is going to pipe in now!.....and again! and AGAIN!"

Hmmm... that could be a new drinking game, if I was into that kind of thing.

You know what I hate the COUNTLESS threads directed to asking certain people to clean out their PM box...and only the same 3 people are the ones who ask this said person to clean it out.

I like how people are coming out of the wood work to talk about how __________ has reduced greekchat to meaningless chatter. I mean no offense, but I highly doubt the conversations before the chatter started were on the verge of curing world hunger or anything.

No one here is required to post on any thread that they don't want, they're also free to ignore threads that they don't like, such as PM clean out threads. Ours are not the only ones out there. I'm sure Valk and GP think they're only being sarcastic with the threads they created but I say, whatever they want. I'm not forced to click on them.

As for the other threads, I do take more time when I'm posting in my defense. Otherwise I comment just about as clearly as ANY OTHER POSTER ON HERE. If you're talking about trainwrecks check out the lame thread...

Clearly if we clean out our PM boxes, we did in fact want to recieve PMs.

But seriously.. it's a MESSAGE BOARD. It's never 100% on topic, and there's always thread drift, but if anything the thread drift has been better lately, so I'm not sure why you're complaining now.

It is SILLY to take a conversation to email when I'm talking to 5 people... Thank you PM_Mama.

I think some people are making this some sort of personal grudge match. Seriously, have more important things to fret about.

Yeah no kidding. Then you've got shmucks who complain about Rudey and I, when in reality we are good for greekchat. We put the fatties and psychos in check for all their lies and we get suspended. Before all this junk, GC use to have internet gangs consisting of girls bullying other fat girls.
