I just finished reading through this entire thread, and I am SUPER AMPED to attend Boule in 11 short days. I'm going to go try on the things I packed to make sure they still fit and will continue to count down the days until I reach the Motor City.

Detroit Free Press article re: AKA Convention
Hi Ladies!
I just wanted to crash in here and let you know that there is a very complimentary article about your organization in the Detroit Free Press this morning as Detroit prepares for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Convention here next week. The article was mentioned by a local news anchor and said she was excited that her sorors would be in town, although she was not mentioned in the article!

Yesterday I took a whole bunch of clothes (mainly suits) to the cleaners so I can take them to Boule. I think I may have to purchase a bigger suitcase or even a garment bag. Other than that, I'm counting down!!!
