Who cares, lay off the little critter. You guys keep jabbing at him about this and that.

No wonder so many people of old no longer roll through here.

We weren't jabbing, we were asking legitimate questions.

Some of your commands don't cross me as legitimate questions.

Regardless, give this person some slack.

I'm going to bomb on some other threads now.

No, you guys were being your typical bitchy selves. Last time I checked, Mean Girls was a movie for high school girls, so stop trying to be them.

And you said several members of the board asked for him to stop typing in caps? You and the other two are hardly "several members".

In other news, welcome to the boards!

We asked him to stop typing in caps because it's annoying and hard to read. We also asked him questions about his fraternity/sorority so that we could know what it is. I know it sounds shocking that people would do that on a board called Greekchat, but yea.

blickity blee, blickity blue.

I don't care. You aren't a moderator of this forum so don't speak on behalf of John. Also, several of your comments or "questions" rather came off as quite snooty and rather rude to someone who is a new user here. Again, cut this person some slack and be a little more respectable.

I don't have time to go around and around about this as I don't care much for the GC High School dramas of late.

Please do explain where in my posts I was mean? I have copied them below for your convenience.

ETA: I'm not trying to be picky, but several is usually considered 3 or more.

Welcome to GC.

Please do not type in all caps, it is considered shouting.

Try to use proper grammar as fewer people will harass you and it is easier to read your posts that way.

Does your Fraternity/Sorority have a webpage? I think we'd all be interested in finding out more. If more of your brothers/sisters/sorors/frats/siblings/ join GC you may get a forum, but until then enjoy the General Greek forums as well as the Other forums such as Chit Chat, etc.

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

Is there a website for your chapter?

ETA: That's interesting, is there anything online, a national webpage or something? I just wanted to find out more about your fraternity/sorority

Are you typing on an unfamiliar keyboard or having trouble with the English? I think you're trying to say Founded and Founder instead of "Piond" and "Puonder" Though "Ph" sounds the same as "F" for English purposes, P and F are not the same and cannot be switched at random

/Not sniping, I'm just trying to understand what you're typing!

Perhaps you should fix it! It's very difficult to understand.

You really think others believe that stuff like "P and F cannot be switched at random" is done in an effort to be helpful?

Seriously?

I don't want to snipe, but adding disclaimers doesn't really absolve you.

Actually it was. If he's from Kuwait and the Phillipines (I'm saying He here because I don't know otherwise) he probably doesn't have the best grasp of the English language. The Ph/F thing was specifically because while the country is called the Philippines, the people are called Filipino. I thought that may have confused him.

I was not attempting to be bitchy; I couldn't tell if that was an unintentional typo or what he thought was a valid spelling. Once he said his keyboard had a problem I understood and suggested that he fix it as it seemed very difficult to believe.

I'm sorry you, and others, may have taken it otherwise, but there was no meanness intended in that.

Exactly.

I don't lump you in with bitch and bitchier. You just kinda follow them around.

Ummm... don't you think you guys have been a little excessive lately? We can barely get through any thread on here without your new little group jumping in and totally hijacking it. I understand it's summer and things might be slow at work for you or whatever, but still. It's not the occasional hijack, we've all done that, but this is constant throughout tons of threads, including those in forums of groups to which you don't even belong. Please, take to IM or PM or your own thread or something and stop ruining all kinds of other threads.

I just saw this today because I don't roll through here that often but I have to put my big AGREE stamp on this. The poor guy posts to say hello and then ends up getting chewed out.
