Having just returned from VLS I was ecstatic to find out that the big Poobahs will be attending. I was also happy to learn that there is even a manual available for planning such events. Who knew?

Unfortunately I also returned to find an email from the Chair of the planning committee with some projected costs. Yikes! We've been setting money aside for a few years now but I'm worried it won't be enough. We'll make it work somehow and it will be beautiful.

I'm glad you went to Macon. We are planning a Chapter trip and I wanted to go with them. I opted out of any trips and hung around the hotel. I actually took a nap which in hindsight was a great call. Every year I come home from VLS/Convention or DLC sick as a dog from lack of sleep. Then Hubby isn't too happy because it's almost like I'm gone for 2 weeks. Not this year though.

One of these times I'll be on the ball and try to get in on one of the GC meetups. I screwed up at Convention too. What "track" were you on? I was in P.

I liked how they divided folks up based on the Marketing Assessment. Usually it's been based on either Chapter size or campus size. This way it really helped us all to focus on our common strengths and weaknesses regardless of all that.
