Betty the Ugly

This show is based on a telenovella "Betty la Fea" (Betty the Ugly). It was the most popular telenovella from South America. It was broadcast on all the major Spanish-speaking networks. I used to watch it to improve my Spanish. It was a good show. If they can "translate" it for an American audience, people will like it.

I'll definitely be watching this. I like America and Vanessa Williams so I'm hoping the show is good too.

There's a newer one too that's on univision, "La Fea Mas Bella", that started a few months ago and has the same sort of idea. I love telanovellas. So cheesy. (Plus, it doesn't hurt that I have a thing for Hispanic men
