At a job interview about 3 years ago, I was sitting down with the President of the College who was looking to hire me, and he asked about my faith in action. I told him that I tried to live my faith through my community service, which was through my community service organization, Alpha Phi Omega. He looks at me, and says, "APO?" I ask him if he'd heard of it before - and then he tells me that he was an active member as an undergrad! I get up, give him the handclasp, and say, "greetings, my Brother."

I got the job.
