Oh my,
I love the internet, it so easy to just hit reply and fire off something to fit the mood of the moment, act now and repent later.
I don't know if anyone else does this, but if I get a provocative email (or see a post) and my blood starts to heat so to speak, I will generally wait a day or two before replying. Or if I write one at the moment anyway, I will usually save it as a draft and then probably never send it I have a whole section of drafts that if I reviewed them all would probbaly give me a coronary from remmebered pain at others people's stupidity.
UMgirl, I agree with ExGreek and PKTSUO1 on the issue of relating other people's stories. Some people talk about almost anything to certain people, but not others. They compartmentalize their lives.
I won't repeat a story someone else tells me even if they don't invoke a confidence. Although I will repeat altered stories about some people if no one knows them, no names are mentioned, and there will be no connection.
However, everyone should be prepared to have anything they tell anyone, even their bestest friend, shared with people they wouldn't want to hear it. A real secret is told to NO ONE.
DZRose, tell us what you really think dear, don't hold back so much . . .
Also, I'd like to think that a lot of National Officers are sufficiently worldly, and mature, that the ones that would like to express themselves in a forumn would feel free to do so.
I especialy say this because people really don't change very much as they age . . . so people that express themselves publicly now will do so later in life. And this is the same population that our National Officers come from.
