This may be different for the guys, as I can't think of many occasions where wearing a pin is common in the workplace. Maybe since 9/11, people have been wearing American flag pins, but that's it...
However, I'll have to agree that wearing the badge everyday is overkill. Personally, I won't wear my badge again unless I'm attending a fraternity event.
I'm not sure if your sorority has something like this, but Kappa Sig sells a ring that has the badge on it. I've seen quite a few people wear that, and it might be a way to "wear" your org's badge in a non-traditional sense.
