My friend does this 3 months straight, then has one one month, then goes 3 months again but it's for medical reasons. (she has crohns and can't take meds for cramps) I do it once in a while if I go on vacation or just for the hell of it. I'm on Yasmin and the only thing I notice is that the next time I have a period it might last a day or two longer and I'll get annoying cramps but they're not bad.
