That wasn't what I was refering to, Crimson. I was alluding to my short story. The point of the story was, I chose not to wear my paraphernalia just to see how peeps would receive me as a GDI at the HBCU I attended. The regular brothers were cool with me but the sisters were picky about who they talked to until they found out I was an Alpha then, here comes the phone calls and the hellos--shallow.
The sister I was dating at the time was going through intake with the Deltas so, she wanted to be as low key as possible, which was ideal for me at the time.
