The second guy was not a rapper.
DETROIT -- A shooting at a Detroit night club that led to the death of rapper Proof early Tuesday morning remains under investigation.
Proof, whose real name is DeShaun Holton (pictured), was killed in a double shooting just after 4 a.m. at the CCC after-hours club on Eight Mile Road, according to police. The second victim, former U.S. Army Sgt. Keith Bender Jr., remained hospitalized on life support Wednesday morning, Local 4 reported.
Police have not released details of their investigation, but witnesses said Proof pulled out a gun and shot Bender, and then someone else shot Proof, Local 4 reported.
