I have never had anything to do with Mary Kay. I think the stuff sucks personally. But that's just my opinion.
Sorry to hear that your friends are so weird though. I don't think I've ever seen self help quotes pasted all over someone's wall. However, it's interesting to judge someone you've never seen over the internet. I picture you with a cigarette and some curlers in a moo-moo with husky man voice.
