If you tell them "I'm not speaking without my lawyer", and don't say anything after that, do they have the right to keep you in the inter room (provided you haven't already been charged with anything) until your lawyer comes, or do you have the right to leave?
I know there's probably 100 different answers, but I've always wondered about those scenes in L&O where they're like "If you don't have anyting else for me, I'm not speaking unless my lawyers here, so you gonna charge me with anything or can I go?"
