I don't want to make it seem like all I have witnessed is negative...obviously not or I wouldn't be planning to pledge my life to this particular sorority. On the flip side I have seen greeks come together and make things happen! I have seen people who seem to have wonderful friendships with people outside of their org. I have two friends who both pledged two different orgs and remained the best of friends..and are both working hard for thier two orgs...which in talking to them made them gain even more respect for each other's orgs because now they know two very good representatives of these orgs...EACH OTHER! Whereas, they could have taken their two different choices in sororities and turned it into something negative..I have also read posts by people on greek.chat talking about their best friend or roomie who is of a different org. and they always comment on how they love that person to death! That's the kinda love I like to see not only amongst greeks, but amongst African -Americans and I hope more of us strive to enrich each other's lives and not belittle them.
