Ugh. My 5th period class made me cry at school in front of them my first year teaching.

Sorry. :-(

This teacher is negative 24/7 and wonders why the kids hate her. She has broken down repeatedly in multiple classes. Her last break down included telling a rather difficult young man that he was a piece of shit who would never amount to anything and she didn't care if he told the principal. *sigh

I'm a good writer. Know how I know? Because people who work for me keep getting promoted based on my written evalutations.

I put in close to 20 hours of voluntary (but paid, yay) OT this week and you question me when I left on time yesterday? Volumes were dead, staffing was on target, my tasks were done and next week's were already started, AND I came in early yesterday morning and will be in early on Sunday? Really?

If I corrected an error in peer review and then pointed it out to you again when I was looking at your document again for another reason, and you STILL don't fix it and the client has to point it out to you...what's the point of me reviewing it?!? Yes I get you hate me because I'm younger than you and am not a subcontractor and am turning out more products, but still...

deviating from the thread title, but...

This is not only a Things You Couldn't Wait To Post On GC Because It Will Be Super Appreciated story, and it's not just a Bad Boss story, but it's a This Person Is So Heinous They Don't Deserve To Breathe Air story.

One of my fellow supervisors (there are 3 of us but one was far out of town for the week) had a death in their family. She called in upset, and I called our boss who had the day off to see if she could come in and pick up her shift (this is a retail establishment, so you can't just call off, someone has to cover for you). She told me she couldn't leave her house, and the woman who had the DIF would have to come in (or else I would have to work a double shift and another shift this morning, pretty much 24 hours straight of work). What, you ask, was so all-important that the boss had to stay home and basically force someone to come into work who should have been at home with her family?

SHE HAD PEOPLE AT HER HOUSE HELPING HER SEW COSPLAY COSTUMES.

I swear I am not making this up.

How did miss this?

I must say, I've been doing Renaissance stuff for awhile now, and there is some crossover between genres, but I still really don't "get" cosplay. I just don't.

Actually (don't kill me Jess) I think it is somehow Renaissance related, but she was going on about how her hubby is an officer and has to have an impressive costume and she can't sew. I don't care if you have Barack F'ing Obama in your house, you don't do that to another human.

Please stop moving our regularly scheduled management meeting because you let your secretary schedule stuff improperly. Not all of us can or want to drop everything and adhere to your schedule.

No I'm not using money from my budget to pay for your volunteer appreciation breakfast. If you don't have any money, don't host a party. Lazy dumbass.
