I have to say... I was slightly proud....and slightly embarassed.
Proud because hip-hop (however it may come) is being recognized as being a true expression or art form. Not that we really need 'them' to recognize us....but... you know. And although they are not my top choice to represent it...they still do it in thier own fashion. A small victory is still a victory. Also to see them truly happy and unpretentious about being thankful was refreshing. They didn't act too ignorant. And did anyone catch how Queen almost forgot where she was.... it was too funny.
On the other hand... like I stated earlier...they are not my choice of best representation... I mean... you choose to name yourself...'Crunchy black'?!!?!
. The beats and melody.... I can deal with ... stupid lyrics.... i can't get over. So... i guess i'm conflicted.
