If i remember correctly, she wasn't allowed to by production. I remember seeing a preview for one of those "things we never showed you" and it shows who
I think is the production staff keeping NY on the stairs, not letting her go after Pumkin.
I understand NY was a bitch, but there is so much more to do than spit...that is just low. You just don't spit in someone's face. But of course thats IMO.
