Interesting topic. Not too long ago when one of my classes adjourned, one of my classmates and I were talking and I didn't realize he was a Kappa and out of no where he asked if my fiance was greek (he saw my bag). Honestly, I was slightly offended. I was offended because this isn't the first time its happen and it seems alot of people think all Greeks marry Greeks.

My fiance is a non-greek who dislikes greeks (mind you he went to Howard), but supported me above and beyond when I wanted to go Greek. Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. I prefer him to be a non-greek. He's partially how I learned to balance both Greek life and Life outside of greekdom.

After I crossed I brought him to two events with me and he was extremely uncomfortable (after one member of an org basically looked down on him because he was a non-greek) so he pretty much stays away now.
