Hc Hc Hc Hc Hc??????

HC my 3 year old daughter walked in on me and my husband in the middle of something she should not have seen.

HC we absolutely did not hear her coming or know that she was standing in the doorway for a good 5-8 seconds before we saw her.

HC she is completely traumatized right now.

HC I sat down with her to talk to her about what she saw and she had this disturbed look on her face.

HC she told me that she didn't want to talk about it - but maybe tomorrow she'd feel like.

HC later this morning I was listening to my son and daughter playing.

HC I was half-asleep, but I heard my 5 year old son teaching my daughter a song.

HC he was teaching her slowly, word for word, "I - Like - Big - Butts - But - I - Cannot - Lie - Those - Other - Brothers - Can't - Deny - - - - you know the rest, and as he would say each word, she'd repeat it back.

HC that woke me up.

HC I was like where did you learn that song (because it's not like we play that around the house).

HC he said that he learned that song on SHREK!!!!!

HC that goes to show me that I really have to stay on top of monitoring what my kids watch.
