I totally missed about 45 minutes of tonight's episode b/c I took some Benadryl and fell asleep.
I did see enough of it to fall even more in love with Sayid. Poor Sayid - he loved Shannon!
What's the deal with this guy..... are they just gonna leave him in the vault?
Oh and I have no idea what those heiroglyphics mean. But it was pretty interesting.
Excited about next week!!

Yeah, those damn frogs are so friggin' annoying. They're a big annoyance in Central Oahu and I feel sorry for the people who live near them.
I wish we knew more about the hot air balloon guy. He kinda gives me the creeps. It was rough seeing Sayid beat the shit outta him, but that guy's instincts are so right on.
The Claire situation next week should be good. I'm just so glad that it's finally getting good again!!!

At long last...something interesting finally happened. I wonder if they will wrap up Lost at season's end? Surely they can't be stuck on that island for 3 freakin' seasons of TV? But then again, the Castaways were stuck for longer.

I'm thinking they will be. Especially since Jack said they've only been there 2months so far. I mean 2months is nothing...

That was the most WTF episode in a while -- excellent.
Was the girl Rousseau's daughter? Where did all those people go?

I like the idea that Sun is preggers. Her reaction though leads me to have this theory.
Sun is unable to have children for whatever reason but the mysterious powers of the island have enabled her to get pregnant much to her shock.

I only got into Lost about a month ago (so I am only reading this thread up to the end of the first season - I have been trying to avoid it, but like the show, it is addicting).
My husband and I bought season 1 and finished it off in just over a week. Now is a very hard time as I have to keep myself occupied for that hour on Wednesdays when Lost is on, so I don't watch the second season.
As soon as this season is released on DVD, I will be the first person in the line-up at HMV to get my copy and get all caught up for season three .
On a side note: Evangeline Lilley looks so familiar to me, as if I actually know her from somewhere. I know this is her first tv/film appearance. But I found out that she attended UBC around the same time as I did and she was studying IR and I was in Hist/PoliSci - lots of those courses overlap. So I am pretty sure I either saw her around campus or actually had a few classes with her.

Yes, although it is not 100% confirmed, that girl should be Rousseau's daughter. Alex (who we now know is a GIRL named Alexandra) was taken from Rousseau about 16 years ago. That dark haired girl looked to be around that age (I thought she looked OLDER actually but whatever).
anyhow, she was "good" and helped Claire escape, so we can more or less assume that she is Rousseau's abducted daughter.
those Dharma scientists are freaking EVIL!!!!
PS Ethan is Tom Cruise's not-hot brother IRL.

I kind of think that Eko knows all Hale balloon guy is an "other" and was letting him know that he knows, if that makes sense, in addition to confessing.
