I just have to say this to people like yourself (those who bring up their 'christian values' when it suits them). Christianity was radical because of the idea of forgiveness, in addition to the promotion of the ideas of love and non-judgement. (I do realize that it is debateable, but you get what I'm saying) I would get back to basics if you are going to rely on your faith as the backbone of your arguments. Your posts suggest you might be missing some bits and pieces of understanding what you are truly trying to use as a weapon/shield. I'm sorry that you live in Philadelphia.
I said maybe one thing about the Bible, and that was concerning Gay men.....I am not using the Bible as a weapon or a shield. I was getting at the fact that many do not want homos in their chapter becasue it goes against the Bible and the foundations it has for the Fraternity. Personally, I wouldn't want them in our chapter just because they are gay. That makes me uncomfortable, and i'm sure it would most likely be uncomfortable for him too.
