I just watched the ep from Monday over that they replay on Sunday and I am so laughing so hard. I notice that he said "girl Melanie" a lot but it wasn't until your post that I actually started listening for it, and when he said it when he found her in bed with him I was laughing so damn hard.

Let my start off by saying I'n not a fan of Girlfriends and never was (sorry, yall). But using an orginal character from one show and giving them another show may not always be a good idea. Perfect example: Joey

Something simular (sp) to probaby what is happening on Girlfriends is Happy Days/Laverine and Shirley and Mork and Mindy.

I thought Brandy was suppose to be a part of this spinoff too. And I thought Girlfriends was going to be on one more season.

Ohhhh....another good example, jitterbug! I forgot about Mork and Mindy. I think Mork was only on HD for one epi....can't remember about L & S.

I guess I would have to see it. I don't really see a spin off to Girlfriend's. They all make the show what it is, and I don't see how they'd have a spin off with none of the old cast?

The main boyfriend was cute, but the show was not. I mean really. Is every episode going to be about the girlfriend being insecure about the relationship and fear of him cheating? What else is there really to portray? Doing community service with the "Athlete Wives Club"? How exciting is that to watch on tv?
