Leadership Academy
February 25-27, 2005
Chapter President and Chapter Adviser Leadership Academy 2005 will provide specific training for Chapter Presidents and Chapter Advisers so they can deepen their understanding of their job and expand the skills and knowledge they bring to it. The purpose behind leadership training is to enable members to become leaders throughout their lives by developing skills in a variety of areas. Leadership Academy also provides a fun setting to meet new sisters and share ideas. As in previous years, all leadership sessions will be held at the Cool Springs Marriott and AOII International Headquarters located in Brentwood, TN. This event is supported by grants from the AOII Foundation.

Chapter Presidents and Chapters Advisers will learn more about these important topics...

• Chapter assessment and goal setting using Standards of Excellence
• Latest features of AlphaLink and the new website
• Ritual
• Budgeting and finance information
• Risk management exploration with scenarios
• General operations (including elections, TCPC and officer transitions)
• Leadership Development
• Chapter relations programming
• Investigation verses conflict resolution skill development

My CP and I had a great time this past weekend! I learned so much more and met some many more great AOIIs!

It was a great learning experience and I'll never forget the Saturday in the Quilt room!! Can't wait for Convention!!!

I'll be there. One way or another!!!

I'm having scheduling issues at work though....My assistant manager had me scheduled that WHOLE weekend so I've been having to ask everyone about swapping days. So far I've gotten off for Saturday but I'm still scheduled for Friday night. Hopefully one of my wonderful co-workers will be able to trade a shift with me!
