I would say no. Play it safe. Wear clothes you have purchased that are similiar to your style that also work with the style of recruitment.
However, I think it would be a great idea to introduce into the conversation that you know how to make your own clothes and describe the style. If you've made any fashion accessories, you might want to wear one of them at recruitment. That would be appropriate.
