Instead of looking at this as the end, you might want to see if you can work as an Advisor or even just volunteer with another chapter. So many chapters do things differently, you may find some new & exciting ideas for when (& if) your chapter does recolonize.
It's like so many other things in life - you may find a new way to reinvent the wheel that would work to your advantage in the future. Just a thought...

That's a great idea honey (helping out with other chapters, because as a collegian I don't think she could be an advisor quite yet
).
I know it feels like it's the end of the world, and I really do b/c I'm going through the exact same thing you are. You just have to keep positive.
