Ok anyone in the same boat? I am soooooo not happy. Since they are neog. contracts dish legally had to remove lifetime from their line up so to replace it they gave us WE in place of lifetime and it sucks! the programming is horrible!

That's why with Cox Communications, you have uninterrupted service of your favorite channels.

But seriously, I read in yesterday's trade mag that it doesn't look good. Dish thinks Lifetime has increased their rates by 75% and Lifeitme isn't budging (saying we bring in the viewers - which they do). It will be interesting to see how it pans out. I couldn't imagine not having my Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network.

   | Unless you want to watch KMTV CBS 3 in Omaha in High-Definition TV, in which case Time Warner refuses to pay KMTV for the signal so you're left in the dark.

I used to have Lifetime and WE and I liked WE better. They got rid of my WE and it's the Hallmark channel now. I never see anything I want to watch on that channel.. |

I didn't realize this until I read this thread. And yes, they took off my Lifetime!!! That stinks. I'm so addicted to their movies. As much $$$ as I pay for this service...... |

Well if they went for it, it would increase the rates that we pay. I personally don't watch Lifetime very much, so I'd be pissed if that happened, and I definitely wouldn't be the only one. It does suck for people who love their Lifetime though. Maybe they'll make it a subscription channel?

I wish we could al carte it. I mean it is me and a 5 yr old.....do i need all those ESPN channels....heck no....take those away a nd let me pickand choose channels....i dislike this WE channel big time. they have three shows" race to the alter , daddys spoiled little girl , and a movie......one word...BORING!
So did i hear someone ay they accepted lifetimes offer? all i need is to raise my dish bill. Luckly, i ended a contract last yr with dish sat and am on a mo to mo billing..... i might go elsewhere.

 | Hallmark is up for sale. If they can't find a buyer, it will be pulled. I had heard that Lifetime may have had a little interest in it (maybe that's why they increased their rates, lol) but nothing has panned though.

Its a shame because I actually do like the Hallmark channel.

The doctor's office I was in this morning usually has the tv tuned to the Lifetime channel. They were not happy.
As for me, Designing Women and Golden Girls boxed sets are going on my wish list.

Seriously!!!

Wrigley- I buy my GG's DVDS at Walmart (go to an actual store if there's one close by); I bought the 3 that are out so far for under 30$ - whereas all the places I looked online had them for like 40 or so; 10$ doesn't seem like a big deal until you remember that you're buying multiple seasons, lol.

Is Designing Women out on DVD now??? That's going on my list |
