Step away from the BeDazzler!

What is the most ridiculous?

1) The beyond extra rhinestone studded, earrings?

2) That they were bid on by not one, but two people?

3) The horrible grammar in the ad?
"This beautiful and unique pair of Alpha Kappa Alpha Ivy Leaf shaped rhinestone studded clip-on earrings are to sure to enhance your sense of style and elegance."

Let us pray that they do know the definition of unique, and that this is the only pair.

Red face Seen some more interesting 'nalia

On ebay in the last month or two i have seen:

1. Omega Psi Phi house slippers- uh no thanks don't think hubby would want them.. not even cute

my personal favorite

2. A thong (for women i guess) with the letters for Omega Psi Phi on them...Can you say WTF is that about???? First off why would you have letters for a mens fraternity on WOMEN's underwear??? I am soo sure no member of Delta Sigma Theta or any other sorority wants their letters on underwear in the first place much less on their mate's behind. I just shook my head at the lengths that some folks will go to make a buck these days...

lmao at the PBS dustpan....why people why? Just say no!

Angry

I was looking at some of that hot bucket of mess some of these vendors have been trying to pass off as Delta 'nalia and almost passed out! I agree with what one Soror said earlier about educating Sorors, not only on P&T, but also what's considered T&T (Tacky and Tasteless). Sometimes it's a matter of not knowing better rather than intentionally being out of pocket. I would much rather a Soror take me aside and point out the error of my ways rather than being snatched up later on.

TTT....

I was searching through paraphernalia websites and stumbled upon this watch.

http://www.greekforme.com/dsq-watch-minerva.html

Sorors, is it me or Fortitude doesn't look right? I asked another soror (my mom ) and compared it to a bag I have with Fortitude on it and she also said it doesn't look right.

And why they are calling her Minvera?

Other greeks and brother/sister friends can reply too!

IMO, Greek for Me is not well suited for NPHC Greeks. I would not buy anything from them since it appears they just aim for close enough but not exact. That is a poor imitation of Fortitude.

Thanks! I wanted to make sure that Mama Jitterbug and I weren't the only ones.

I decided to check out if they did watches for the AKAs, Zetas and SGRhos. This is what I found out:

http://www.greekforme.com/aka-watch-rose.html
http://www.greekforme.com/aka-watch-frog.html
http://www.greekforme.com/sgr-watch-poodle.html
http://www.greekforme.com/zfb-watch-dove.html

There are also two more Delta watches that they sell:
http://www.greekforme.com/dsq-watch-lady.html
http://www.greekforme.com/dsq-watch-elephant.html

I think if someone were to give me one of those watches for Christmas, I would have to tell them to take it back!

I just threw up in my mouth a little at each of those "watches."

Why do they look like bad claymation watches? Like those Grommit and Wallace cartoon people.

They are nasty and tacky and if anyone ever got me one of those, I'd probably throw it at them...HARD!

I was trying to figure out a way to describe them but you just hit the nail on the head!
