After being diagnosed with a fatal disease, a shy sales clerk goes on a European vacation to live out the rest of her life. With nothing to lose--or so she thinks--her behavior becomes more irreverent and outrageous each day, only to find out later she was misdiagnosed.

I JUST saw the commercial for this movie... I logged on SPECIFICALLY to start this thread... Dannnnnng CT4 b.k.a Soror Super Moderator. Anyhoo, my title (or spin on it) was going to be, if you found out that you had three weeks to live, what would you do? How would you spend your last days?

Being proactive
I wonder if Latifah is producing this herself? I hope she is because if she wants to have leading, romantic roles (LL Cool J is her love interest), she'll have to do it herself because you know that thin-obsessed Hollywood won't do it for her.

Well if she is producing these movies herself, she's doing a pretty good job because her beau in this move and in Taxi are both fiiine.

Most of this film was done in the NO (NO east). It originally was set to go straight to video.

I am going to go see this opening weekend, and probably drag some Sorors with me! Here's a question, if you were in her position - what would you do on your last holiday????
I would go to South America, Africa and Australia. I've always said I want to travel more, but I haven't been south of the equator yet. And I would tell a few people how much they mean to me while I had the chance.

Mr. LnF and I went to see it...it was very lackluster...could have waited on it to come to video. HOwever, Queen looked FABULOUS in the movie...her makeup was FIERCE!!

I"ve read a lot of reviews that say this as well as the fact there is no chemistry between Queen and LL.

I liked the movie. I liked Latifah in this role better than her role in Taxi. I didn't expect too much between her and LL (chemistry). She and LL had less than 7 scenes together. I bet less than 5 scenes.
Giancarlo has aged well. 
Michael Neri(sp?)ole boy from flashdance has not. I used to like that non-black man back in the day.
