I had already settled on a gift for my mom, something she needs but just came across a present -- Old School Concert with the Manhattans and a few others -- that she will loooooooooove.

Speaking of gifts.... I need ideas on a Christmas gift for a guy who's not yet my boyfriend but we're really good friends and recently started dating.

I finished mine Saturday. I walked around the mall all day long and boy were my feet aching afterwards and I wore comfortable shoes at that.

I just started. I ordered my sister an AKA bag a few minutes ago from Greekgear.com. I'm going to by my mom a camera, maybe some elephants and a gift certifcate from Dillards. My brother and grandma will also get gift cards to their favorite stores. I may get my dad either some coglone (sp again or a model car (or 2 depending on the price). I have no idea what to get my stepdad.

Does she like crystal? If so, maybe you can get her a nice piece of crystal. If you go waterford or swarovski, these can be expensive so you might ask the store rep if there are any discontinued pieces on clearance or in the back room. I have gotten at least one deal this way. the rep brought out several waterford pieces that were not out b/c there was not room and they were discontinued.

Have only bought one gift. Besides my family, the only folx who get gifts are four babypeople, and I have a reprieve on two of them because I don't see their moms (sorors) until January.

No, I have not even started yet. Every year I say, I am going to put things in the layaway and be prepared for school. Lo and behold I am still shopping the last few days of Christmas.

Last year, I shopped Christmas Eve.
