When my doctor said that I was not a candidate for LASIK because of my +7.00 prescription, I was disappointed because I wanted to stop wearing contact lenses. Little did I know at the time all the eye problems that were in store for me with the acanthamoeba keratitis. So now no LASIK, no contacts, eyeglasses, eyedrops, blurry vision, and monthly doctor visits for a year, but I'm improving so that's good.
