They're definitely worth the $. Sorry the pics are so blurry, lights were flashing like crazy from the show, but we couldn't use flash or they'd take our cameras.
If you like their music, check out some of the bands the mebers of TSO are part of. My two favorites are
ZO2 (David Z, the bass player's band) and
Chris Caffery, the lead guitarist. I'm not normally into metal at all, but I enjoy them.
Here is a link to the current tour members' websites. There are 2 tours every year, east and west coast. I prefer the east coast band, but that's just me. They're both exceptional, though. Definitely amazing performers. The lights and lasers add so much to the music.
