Go for it girl! Just tell them your qualifications and hopefully they'll have the sense to listen.
I was archon last year, and when I was voted in it was tough...not because i didn't think i'd win but because I didn't want to hurt the other candidate's feelings. She had been a member 2 yrs longer than me and was best friends with the archon at that time...during elections we just happened to be sitting right next to each other. what was worst that night was that it only took one vote to decide...the past elections I had witnessed, it always took 3 or more...
Anyways, enuf about me... do your best and work hard both for archon and MOC. your chapter will put you in the right place
