The Marquette chapter was booted almost instantly upon the
receipt of the charter. We have never returned, dunno why.
While I am at it, TKE had a top chapter at Hillsdale and was kicked
off. President of college, answering request to reactivate, said
tersely "Whenever Hell freezes over or I die, whichever comes second." Class.
I guess almost everyone has a chapter which was treated unfairly. We all got a lot of stories, and I have never been able to understand why TKE is not back at many...like Chicago, Penn, Lake Forest, Baker, Hillsdale, Carroll, High Point SE Mo, Moravian, a bundle with loyal alums, were good chapters.
Generally there is a president involved with a semi-erection for TKE, just my opinion, of course. \\
