Ditto. I think last night's episode was pretty good (reminscent of the older epsiodes). It reminds you that you really have to trust your husband if you are dedicated and committed to your marriage (especially if he hasn't really given you a reason to not trust him).

It reminded me of the previous battle of the sexes ep that involved William, Todd, and Ellis. The story line was close to being plausible.

I just need Joan to get some customers.

I didn't understand Joan initally. Why not a sports bar/after work hangout?

You saw the sports bar idea WORKED. It brought in money, but your pride would not let you see that it was better than having a restaurant. You were willing to become homeless because YOUR idea didn't work.

I'm glad she came around.

Last night she sickened me.

She can make it a sports bar but on some nights switch it up with various themes.

Yeah Soror, that whole episode was a little interesting/disturbing.

Suprisingly a lot of people think that good works get you into heaven, or following traditions, or by calling yourself a Christian means you are saved. But you can continue to live a foul life full of adultery, pre-marital sex, envy, greed, and etc...but hey as long as you say you are a Christian than its all good. Some of the comments they were saying were disturbing.

At least you guys get to see Girlfriends or any other Black sitcom for that matter. I'm stuck in Germany and will settle for anything in English right about now. I couldn't tell you what's going on with Girlfriends if I wanted to!

Hollywood buzz is that the hit UPN sitcom ‘Girlfriends’ will be back for an unprecedented seventh season—most African-American sitcoms last only five years. An insider tells BV Buzz that all four girls— Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks, Jill Jones and Persia White—will return for what would will likely be the seventh and final season of the highly-rated series in the fall of 2006. The show’s creator Mara Brock Akil has been tapped to helm an untitled pilot for R&B singer Brandy and is apparently also working on a ‘Girlfriends’ spin-off. A rep for the show was mum about its return. “Girlfriends’ is performing very well, but we have yet to announce pickups for any series for next season,” said UPN’s Rachel Seltzer.

I know last night was a repeat but I think I have decided to just stop watching. I'll read the commentary from you all but seriously I cannot continue to watch this show. I stopped watching My Wife and Kids when that show became far too stupid/slapstickish so I have to do the same with Girlfriends.
