I'm not familiar with what being a shuttle bus driver entails, what your responsibilities might be. I also can appreciate you not wanting to ditch them in the middle of the night. BUT MY DEAR...
I would rat them out so fast and smile at them while I was doing it. I am NOT so nice, in fact even at my age I have a solid streak of spitefulness in me. When you allow yourself to be walked on, expect to be treated like a doormat. In fact, if that had happened to ME, I'd make sure they got punished to the "full extent of the law".
