I read another article about this. The critics were saying that it's not going to be effective unless a female wears it all the time, because no one knows when they're going to be raped. The other thing critics were saying is that education is what's really needed. A lot of the worst rapes are on children. Because there are South Africans who believe that sex with a virgin can cure or protect a man against AIDS. And these critics of the rapex device were saying that instead of "arming" children against rape, there needs to be education about what AIDS is, how it's transmitted, how it can be prevented, and how it can be treated.
