Those of you who have had bridal showers thrown for you, did you get the people hosting it gifts? flowers?? My situation is not the normal maid of honor throwing the shower for me, so I don't know...long explanation short: two of my AOII sisters are throwing me a shower since my MOH is living across the country and can't throw me the shower but neither of them are in the wedding because the wedding is a destination deal very far away and they both recently had children and can't make the trip.

I just saw my best friend married off earlier today.
I was the MOH and hosted the shower along with her two bridesmaids. at the shower, she gave us each a rose along with a card. However, we did receive gifts (along with the remainder of the wedding party) at the rehearsal dinner last night. However, since they're not in the wedding, a gift would be appropriate as a token of your appreciation.
