This will be the unpopular comment, but... I knew 3 fraternity men who were injured from hazing when I was an undergrad and all 3 were blindfolded at the time. Being blindfolded was my personal "deal breaker" because there is something about it that makes me very uncomfortable... vulnerable and not in control of my own actions. I was really worried going into my pre-initiation week that it was going to be the end of me being an Alpha Gam because I was going to refuse to be blindfolded under any circumstance. Since I'm now a 21 year member, I can proudly say that nobody ever tried to blindfold me. We had no activities that involved a blindfold in any way shape or form.
