That's what scares me about ANY rape case. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's heard the story about the judge who held a needle and said that as long as the needle (the rape victim) moved, it couldn't be threaded (raped).
And if she really did do this willingly, maybe (!) this chapter should have a few discussions on how easily a situation such as this can become a crime! Their advisor would do well to start some risk management lectures ASAP.
