I remember in college when another fraternity got in trouble when its pledges were seen at the library wearing dresses. Their nationals said initiate these guys immediately, but the brothers weren't too happy about that so the new actives avoided the house, or so I hear.

Then the fraternity sent some statement to all the houses and the NIC definition of hazing. Apparently if you frown at a pledge that's hazing. Ridiculous.
