Yes, I believe in spanking children. If I ever have children, I'll spank my own
if I have to. A swift swat on the never hurt anyone; now a whoopin' is a different story.
I've seen children never spanked who have grown up and still get into trouble. I've seen them spanked and the same thing still happens. Then, they are those like me
who have been spanked and are productive members of society, and those that are not.
We like to rely on the reasoning that "they were all raised the same", but every child is different and should be dealt with accordingly. So, what you do for one child may not always work for another. If there is another way, then by all means try it. No one has the perfect forumla for raising children.
