Re: Online Magazine Tells Stories - May
Isn't it interesting how religion seems to bring out the best in everyone?

Brothers,
An interesting little "drama" is being played out in the latest issue of the C&C. It appears that the Da Vinci Code continues to "ruffle some feathers!" How we get from the DaVinci Code to homosexuality, Satan, and the need for all to believe in some particular religious doctrine to be "saved" is beyond me.
The Bible, in my opinion, has been used to justify about any belief anyone wanted to impose on others. Of course, people have a wonderful capacity to see things, even the same thing, in many different ways. In pre-Civil War America, both sides of the slavery issue used the Bible to justify their positions. It took a war, another 100 years, and the Civil Rights Act to gain general acceptance that Blacks were not property but people entitled to civil rights. Of course the debate goes on....
You might want to check out the "Online Magazine Tells Stories" article by Jason Pearce in this month's issue of the C&C. You might even want to jump in on one side or the other of the discussion!

The Bible has always be suspect.
But, what is amazing, it keeps coming up what really semi happened. It is a Historical Book that is being proven daily!
But There are so many things that have happened sense the beginning of time.
I did buy ther Da Vincci Code to make a Reference to see what is happening!
I am not sure who was really there who wrote anything!

No thanks. It just makes me prouder than ever to be an atheist.

Did You Know that Lambda Chi Alpha Now Has 250,000 Members?
Brothers,
You can read about this significant event in the June issue of the "Cross and Crescent" magazine. Plus much more....
It is available right now, and once again on time, at our IHQ website home page.
Good reading!

Nicely done once again Mike.
History will not be lost on Your account.
Funny thinking that being a sort of A member of this particular denomination how closely intertwined with Brother Cole and I actually were.
Oh well, Jono, We are Brothers anyway!
Maybe there will be a real revelation in the near future if The Detectives of LXA and GC can find Our Spiritual Founder Warren A. Cole.
What a story that would be!

I kind of miss...
I kind of miss getting the magazine in the mail the way I used to. I understand that this way is cheaper, but I loved having the magazine in print and showing it off to my family.

Agree, but cost and new technology have given us a new look.
How many Printed C & C has anyone actually kept?

Brother Cube TX,
You can print a copy of the magazine in PDF format. It is actually quite different in layout and, in some small ways, content from the electronic version of the C&C.
My Mom likes it when I mail her a copy....

I used to keep all of mine, but then I also still have all of my old MAD Magazine copies from the 80s as well as my football cards from back in the day. My wife found my Shaquille O'Neal rookie card just two days ago and wondered why I still have all of the same junk I did when I lived with my parents. She just doesn't understand....

Theta Kappa Nu had a magazine? Yeesh, that thing is probably worth more than my old comic books.

Yes, indeed!
It was called the Theta News. They come up on eBay from time to time. Normally, they command big bucks. I have most of them. Some of the history articles in the C&C contain references to the Theta News. They also had a secret publication called The Inescutheon.

July Issue of The Cross & Crescent Magazine
Greetings!
The next issue of the Cross & Crescent Magazine will launch tonight after midnight. This will be the 9th consecutive issue of the magazine published on time and as promised!
Ready for some controversy? Read the article about the international anthem of Lambda Chi Alpha: "Magic Carpet Ride!" I can't wait to read the "Letters to the Editor" about this one!
Ever hear of the Commons Clubs? Learn about this organization's influence on some of our earliest Zetas in the July issue of the C&C.
Stay Tuned....
