You could probably throw a rock in Mongomery today and if you hit a white male age 65 or above, he could have been in the same situation. He, by asking her to move, and the bus driver by insisting on it then calling the police, was doing nothing unusual, she was.
On a related topic, a white woman who now lives in the Atlanta area said she was on the bus that day and offered to give Mrs. Parks her seat, but the bus driver would not let her. She was on the local news. I'll see if I can find the link
